On the occasion of International Women’s Day celebrations on March 8, 2023, Birla Carbon Italy (BCI) focused on the prevention of breast cancer as a theme to share messages with all employees at the plant. The team at BCI proposed breast examination accompanied by prevention counseling sessions in collaboration with LILT of Novara.

They organized a free 15-minute visit for all the employees in the plant infirmary. The visit began with a few questions to better understand the health status of the employees, followed by examination and individual counseling sessions to raise awareness towards breast cancer prevention, one of the most common causes of cancer in women globally.
