On May 8, 2024, the Trecate plant of Birla Carbon, Italy, participated in the ‘Career Day’ celebrations at the Polytechnic of Milan University. There is a big fair organized by the Polytechnic every year and this year, it was attended by 275 companies. The fair was dedicated towards providing job and internship opportunities to the young generation. 

Annalisa from HR, along with Cristina, and Davide from production, participated in the fair. Many students of various nationalities showed interest in the plethora of job opportunities and internship experiences that Birla Carbon had to offer them. 

Additionally, on May 9 and 14, 2024, the HR team participated in two Career Day events organized by the Employer’s Association. One was held at the High School Technical Institute – ITI Omar – in Novara, and the other was at the High School Technical Institute – ITI Faccio – in Vercelli. Both these events offered orientation opportunities to the students who passed out of school in the last three years.
