Birla Carbon Hungary (BCH) has always focused on the importance of education for the children in the local communities. Keeping this in view, in August 2023, the employees of BCH donated school bags, exercise books, pencil cases, and drinking bottles for the kids who needed these items. The team at BCH tied in the aspect of diversity and equity by choosing different colours, and a variety of stationery items, which co-relate to the different children and their unique talents within a classroom.

They kept in mind and ensured that all the stationary supplies were of top quality for every child, yet had a different look and style for the children to pick and choose from. Additionally, the employees also placed the backpacks along with the social value of carbon black storybook for each child as a way to introduce carbon black and its role in our daily lives. The kit had a special motivational note for each child, sharing the importance and the value of learning and keeping an open mind.
