Birla Carbon Plants in USA, Canada, and Spain secure ISCC PLUS Certification

Aims to complete all plant certifications by the end of CY 2024

 

Mumbai, India & Marietta, USA, – July 19, 2024: Birla Carbon, one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of high-quality carbon-based solutions, announced that three more of its manufacturing units – North Bend, USA; Hamilton, Canada, and Santander, Spain have secured the ISCC PLUS Certifications.

Earlier this year, Birla Carbon secured ISCC PLUS certifications for its facilities in Brazil, Hungary, North Bend, USA, South Korea, Egypt, Italy, and three units in India. The certification process for the last three plants is ongoing and is expected to be completed by the end of CY2024.

ISCC PLUS certification stands as a reliable indicator of Birla Carbon’s commitment to providing sustainable and circular raw materials and underscores the company’s dedication to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
